Start the Conversation

Let's talk about the birth you're envisioning.

Choosing a midwife is personal. Your consultation is a chance for us to get to know one another, talk about your pregnancy and what you're looking for in your care, and explore whether Greenwood feels like the right fit for your family.

What to Expect

A Conversation, Not A Commitment.

We'll talk about your pregnancy, birth history, hopes and concerns, answer your questions about Greenwood and the Legacy Birth Experience, and discuss the details that are specific to your circumstances.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we talk. Come with your questions.

A Note From Kesha

If you've made it this far, you're probably trying to decide what you want your care to look and feel like.

I want you to know that I don't take lightly what it means to be invited into this part of someone's life.

Pregnancy, birth, and those first days with a new baby are incredibly personal. You're allowing someone into your home, your family, your decisions, your vulnerable moments, and eventually, into a story you'll probably tell for the rest of your life.

That's a privilege.

If you choose me as your midwife, my hope is that you never feel like you're simply another appointment on my calendar. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions. I want you to understand your options. I want there to be room for your fears, your excitement, your family, your culture, your beliefs, and everything else that makes your experience uniquely yours.

I won't promise you a perfect pregnancy or a perfectly planned birth. Birth doesn't work that way.

What I can promise is that I will show up with care, honesty, knowledge, respect, and a willingness to listen. I'll celebrate with you when there's something to celebrate. I'll sit with you when things feel uncertain. I'll tell you what I know, tell you when I don't know, and help you navigate the decisions in front of you without forgetting that they are ultimately yours to make.

Because at the end of all of this, I don't just want you to remember how your baby was born.

I want you to remember how you were cared for while becoming who you were becoming, too.
